On Friday, March 7th, we dug out our fedoras and stepped into the 1920’s at the Roaring ADDY’s. The 2014 American Advertising Federation’s Greater Lehigh Valley ADDY Awards took place at Allentown Brewworks and the soirée began at 6PM with cocktails and freestyle dining.
This year’s competition saw the most ADDY submissions in the region to date, with our team submitting six entries in categories Digital Advertising (B to B, Consumer, Microsites), Multimedia DVD, Elements of Advertising – Photography, Campaign.
After some mingling and some giggle water, the awards began. The exciting presentation made this year’s event one of our favorites of all time. And we promise it wasn’t because of all the hardware we walked away with. We were lucky enough to receive a total of seven ADDY’s – four Silver, two Gold and the coveted Best of Show.
The Silver awards we received were for fashion photography for LM Stylebar, a Bethlehem based women’s fashion line, our very own 401creative.com, a B to B website showcasing our work and culture, ArtsQuest’s Dinner and A Show, a campaign to raise awareness about dining options at SteelStacks and Discover Lehigh Valley, a tourism site for visitors of Lehigh Valley.
Our two Gold ADDY’s were for “Built Like a Mack Truck,” an interactive kiosk located at the Da Vinci Science Center and ASCD’s 2012-2013 Annual Report microsite.
The Best of Show award was for the ASCD Annual Report microsite, making it our third Best of Show award in eight years.
The whole team at 4O1! is honored to be recognized for award-winning marketing materials, especially against the great competition in the Lehigh Valley. We’d also like to congratulate our friends who took home Gold ADDY’s – J Taylor Design, Spark, United Way, Adams Outdoor Advertising, 3 Seed, and FireRock Productions for their Gold ADDY and Best of Show.
