Exciting things have been happening at 4O1! – With our recent merger and planning our biggest event to date, we’ve been so busy that we almost forgot to tell you about our new additions. We’d like to introduce you to our newest teammates… and don’t forget to come meet them at 4O1! Day on April 1st!
Web Developer Lee Gustin came to us back in July 2012 with 5 years of experience working as a freelance web developer/designer. Lee has proven to be a key team player – he’s helped us with social media, he enjoys learning more about his craft in his spare time, and he’s an amazing asset to our development crew.
Lee has recently taken up photography, something a few other 4O1! folks are more than passionate about. He also likes to play tennis and video games, but rarely ever does he play video game tennis. Sometimes he pouts when he can’t go outside to play because it’s too cold out – but then he watches old episodes of Rocko’s Modern Life and he feels better.
What we say about Lee while gathered ‘round the water cooler:
You can check out Lee’s blog at blog.leegustin.com where he’ll definitely share industry info and he might even talk about his love for 4O1!’s culture of fun and creativity. He might also share some cool comic book or cartoon stuff.
Amanda Willigman has been with us part time for about 6 months, and was just hired on full-time! We’re excited to have this Arcadia University Print Communications grad on our team, who previously interned with Braithwaite Communications in Philly as well as Lehigh Center for Clinical Research in Allentown.
Amanda is a huge Phillies fan; she loves to go to games and according to her, they’re the future 2013 World Series Champions. If post-season doesn’t work out, you can catch her spending her free time at a concert, dreaming of Fiji, or watching our coworker Alli’s awesome beauty blog at makeupbyalli.com. You probably won’t catch Amanda ironing in her free time – she thinks it’s a drag… She also thinks Grumpy Cat would agree.
What we say about Amanda while gathered ‘round the water cooler:
Amanda says she loves the creative atmosphere of 4O1!, and that it allows lots of collaboration between team members, which she thinks makes for really cool projects and fun work days. Her favorite 4O1! Project to date is GoPetFriendly.com, a travel blog for folks who like to adventure with their pets.
Senior Designer Ryan Lynn has just added 3 months at 4O1! to almost a decade of experience designing everything from posters to product packaging. Ryan received his BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University, making him one of three KU alums working here! Go Golden Bears!
Ryan spends his free time on his motorcycle and dreaming about a “lone-wolf” cross-country motorcycle adventure. If Homer Simpson asked to ride along, he’d likely say yes. If it’s too rainy to ride, he’s probably checking out his favorite blog, OMGPosters.com.
What we say about Ryan while gathered ‘round the water cooler:
Ryan’s been putting out some amazing work here at 4O1! – his favorite project to date has been designing the Vault 634 logo. Make sure you check out some of Ryan’s amazing design work on his recently updated website ryanlynndesign.com.
Our most recent addition, Matthew Linde, is our brand-spanking-new Project Manager/Web Producer. Matt comes to us after spending 13 years working at Rodale, where he managed award winning websites like Runner’s World, Bicycling, and Rodale to name a few. Matt has been with us for about a month, and the rest of the team has nothing but great things to say about him.
Matt is an avid backpacker, enthusiastic chicken rancher, professional organic gardener, and a sometimes fine art model. OK, so he’s not a fine art model, but you could make him an offer. He is a family man and a self proclaimed “Emmasian” – a title one earns by spending a few years living and loving in Emmaus, PA.
What we say about Matt while gathered ‘round the water cooler:
We’re excited to have a dedicated project manager on board – Matt is organized, on-point, and has a great sense of humor. These are the most essential tools for the job… Plus he has truckloads of experience working on web projects.
Please join 4O1! in welcoming our new officemates! We’re so proud to have a strong, thriving team… one that people want to be a part of and are excited to work with. And don’t miss your chance to meet all of us at this year’s 4O1! Day!
