Lunch and Learn: Food Truck Field Trip Edition

Helping companies build better, more impactful brands is one of the Weidenhammer Creative team’s favorite thing to do. On Thursday, October 13th, we hosted a “lunch and learn” type event at our office. We wanted to reach out to our clients and to businesses in the area and give them a chance to learn more about corporate branding, show them what we do, and offer them some of the best food in the Lehigh Valley. We’ve been to plenty of these events before, and we wanted to break the mold and show off our personality. Instead of getting the same old sandwiches and a fruit tray, we got two awesome food trucks, Pirate Cupcake and Bob-B-Q Sliders & Sides, to come to us instead As our invitations said, we wanted to people to be able to stuff their brains and their faces. We called our event the Food Truck Field Trip.

Before our design manager, Ryan, and our manager of client relations, Jeremy, started their presentation we gave our guests a chance to network with each other and members of the Weidenhammer team.

The presentation gave us the opportunity to explain that corporate identity and brand identity means more than just having a good logo. It means having a well thought out, fully integrated brand that includes many elements. We illustrated this point by showing off some of our past branding projects, that included things like videos, websites, and product packaging.

Ryan showed off just how many places a tailored, focused brand can make an impact. Velaspan, one of our clients, has their brand represented in the wraps on their trucks, on shirts, in the interior design of their office, and through video. After the presentation, all of our guests (and our team) headed outside to the food trucks to chow down and continue networking.

We’ll be honest, there was a lot of discussion around the creative team’s office leading up to the day of the event. Food trucks? We were all pretty excited and were anxious to see if the food would meet up to our expectations. Did it?
