Weidenhammer Creative went home Friday evening with a 2016 Gold ADDY award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF/GLV) ADDY Awards Ceremony on Friday, March 4, 2016. The event took place at the Northampton Community College, Lipkin Theatre in Bethlehem, PA.
Weidenhammer Creative was highly recognized for Online Interactive, Social Media, Single Platform for The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Responsive Website.
The website incorporates an updated, fully responsive framework, customized Google Maps integration, unification of primary site with store and news, as well as an overall brand consistency with social media platforms. The updates allow users to explore the site, and the trail’s offerings, across devices, from desktop to smartphone. Highlighting things to do along the trail, there’s an increased focus on surrounding towns, including descriptions, directions., and notable attractions.
“The site was an incredible opportunity to partner with a community organization and highlight some of the offerings of our surrounding attractions, trails, and towns,” said Devon Beck, one of the lead developers on the project. “The end result was a clean, integrated effort that incorporated consistency across social media and the online responsive website. It is something that can be used by everyone living and visiting the Valley.”
